Great to meet another person whose just started their teaching career and is also "normal"
Geez, some of the girls in my degree are so gooey + gushy over the children that it's just plain freaky.

A big hello and a congrats on landing solid work for the year :)

yah i be normal, tho my staff seem to think im a tad eccentric i think! its hard to be too gooey over the kids when you're seeing all their pain-in-the-ass bits every day i think! (i'm not too keen on the kids today, as i'm off sick with flu germies from them :P) frankly the gooeyness just seems unrealistic to me, much as i love my job :)
